Quality management and qualifications

One of the key objectives of our quality management is to maintain customer satisfaction, and we do that by ensuring a consistently high quality of all the services we offer. We will listen to, understand and meet each customer’s unique needs.

Quality management and ongoing dialogue

Quality management work is an ongoing process and a shared responsibility between us and our partners. Through continuous feedback, dialogue and thoughtful governance, we achieve refined and improved results. An ongoing dialogue means that we never have to start from scratch, but can work faster, more accurately and more efficiently.

Our ongoing dialogue includes:

  • Structured introduction and continuous feedback.
  • Repetition of processes and workflows to always ensure the same high quality.
  • Updated and customised solutions and services.

Certification and qualifications within translation

Our translators are highly skilled professionals, all thoroughly tested before they can join our team. They meet (and often exceed) the requirements for translation services in ISO 17100:2015:

  • a recognized graduate qualification in translation from an institution of higher education;
  • a recognized graduate qualification in any other field from an institution of higher education plus two years of full-time professional experience in translating;
  • five years of full-time professional experience in translating.

As well as training, we value subject matter expertise and business acumen, which is taken into account for each job you tender. And, before starting a project, the individual translator is introduced to, e.g., your corporate values and tone of voice. Spot checks and sampling is carried out regularly to ensure standards are met.

Our project managers work actively with setting the best team for your project, for example, on specific projects like a financial report, we use two translators, one who handles the more creative review part and another for the financial statements.

Certification and qualifications within interpreting

Semantix’s interpreters cover different qualification and authorisation levels, depending on your needs and wishes. They also fulfil one of the following (if not more):

  • They have been trained internally by Semantix or another interpreting agency.
  • They have completed a national interpreting education or equivalent.
