Semantix recruits Head of Business Development
As a further step in the company’s expansion, Semantix is appointing Patric Eklöf as Head of Business Development. Patric joins us from office materials company Ocay, where he was also Head of Business Development.
“I’m convinced that Patric’s experience, combined with his strategic and analytical abilities, will represent an excellent contribution to the development of our business,” says Semantix’s CEO Anders Uddfors. “The fact that Patric shares our values and his breadth of experience were important considerations in making this appointment.”
Patric previously worked as Head of Business Development at Ocay, where he was a member of the group management team. Before that, he worked as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group and as a business developer in various roles, focusing on strategic issues and operational development. At Semantix, he will join the group management team. Patric will assume his position on 18 April.
“I became interested in the interpreting and translation industry when I read Språkföretagen’s debate article in Dagens Nyheter,” he recalls. “Making contact with Semantix was a natural choice, since the company is the Nordic industry leader and features strong ownership. Now that I’ve gained a deeper insight into the opportunities and challenges faced by Semantix, I’m excited to be part of the company’s future.”
