Since TimedText is on a cloud-based platform, Semantix can create a free user for any media translation linguist. Purchasing your own media translation tool is therefore no longer a requirement.
Captioning and subtitling are mostly performed from scratch. However, depending on the target language TimedText can employ speech-to-text and MT will be available as resource, which will in the end require post-editing instead of working entirely from scratch.
