The group consists of the brands Cubus, Dressmann, Dressmann XL, Bik Bok, Carlings, Volt, Urban and WOW.

In 2013, Varner chose Semantix as their translation partner. The fashion industry is in rapid change, and Varner needed a proactive partner who could adapt quickly.

Right from the onset, Semantix saw a potential to reduce Varner’s costs and simplify administrative tasks by moving their projects to the Semantix Language Hub.

We at Varner needed to streamline our international communication to a simple and playful tone. We ended up choosing Semantix many years ago and have been satisfied with the provided services.

By using Semantix Language Hub, each of Varner’s brands can now easily create new translation requests, follow the path of the translation in real time and download completed projects when ready. Varner uses the Hub as a marketplace for ordering different translation services.

Today, Semantix helps Varner translating product information from our Product Information Management system (PIM). We upload our product information to the Hub, track the process and download the finished translations. Simple and hassle-free. Our main challenge was the manual process of export and import of text, which delayed our time to market.

Semantix will shorten our time to market by avoiding manual file handling with Semantix AutoConnect inRiver plugin. The plugin connects Varner’s inRiver Product Information Management system with Semantix project management tool. This makes it possible to place translation orders directly from InRiver and review translated text in the InRiver system before publication online. This will effectively eliminate manual file handling.
