Content Writing

Content Writing is the process of writing advertising and marketing texts with unique content tailored to the local target group in the selected market.

This service is monolingual although instructions may be given in a language different from the target language.

Content writers must consider the desired overall message and customer reaction, the marketing funnel stage, the relevance to the intended target group and channel, as well as the brand’s specific tonality. The process typically includes two or three drafts with feedback loops and begins with a creative brief and project plan to define goals and frames of reference.

Content writing is mostly applied to longer content such as blog posts, white pages, newsletters, e-books, case studies, and more, with a potential focus on on-page SEO. Its purpose is to inform, educate or entertain the reader, often having SEO in mind to rank high in search engines.

The job is often done without the use of CAT tools and paid on an hourly basis.

For Content Writing jobs, we estimate a productivity of about 700–1,000 words per hour.
